Yoga

Hatha Yoga which is practiced here at Physioflexx has many benefits including better sleep, strengthening core muscles, improving anxiety, helping to reduce stress and improving depression symptoms.

This style of Yoga emphasizes holding poses for long periods of time. It is made up of three main practices: body postures, breathing techniques and meditation.

Our classes are tailored to all levels from the beginners to advanced.

The most common question we get asked is ‘ What is the difference between Yoga and Pilates?‘ Pilates and yoga are very similar in many ways. They are both low impact mind-body practices which encourage you to work closely with the breath. Generally speaking, Pilates focuses on physical conditioning, using resistance and equipment to build up strength. Whilst yoga does build up strength and endurance by using the bodies’ own weight as a form of resistance, strength is not the main focus.

Yoga specifically addresses flexibility and joint range of movement.

We are currenly running a hybrid model of classes which include face-to-face and online only.
