Our Measures

As the current situation with Coronavirus continues to impact worldwide, we wanted to update you of the additional steps we are taking to protect our team and patients. We adhere to strict infection control procedures and clinical hygiene has always been a priority within our clinics, but at this time we are enforcing strict measures. We request any patient who is visiting our clinics to wash their hands on entering and leaving the building. We also have hand gel for santising and would request where possible payment is taken by card rather than handling cash. Our card machines are wiped down after every use at present. If the preferred method is BACs transfer then this can also be arranged.

Symptoms & Self-Isolation

If you believe you have the symptoms of COVID-19 then it is paramount that you self-isolate for 7 days if you live alone or 14 days if you live with others counting this from the day the first person has been symptomatic. Likewise, if you have come into close contact with someone who has confirmed or suspected COVID-19 or recently travelled to one of the high risk countries then please do not attend your appointment and reschedule this for after the end of the self-isolation period. The symptoms you are watching for would be a viral/flu like illness with a new continuous cough and/or high temperature (fever). Please note if you are within one of the one risk category groups we would strongly advise not to attend clinics and commence social distancing as per Government/WHO guidelines.

Current Practices

We are consistently watching for government advice and at present we remain open but for how much longer we are unsure. As this is an unsettling time for all we would like to reassure you that we will still be here for you to provide our services. We are offering Telehealth (video consultations) appointments which means you can speak to your practitioner and continue your rehabilitation over video call. To arrange an initial assessment or treatment session via video please click here and this will direct you to our online bookings or if you would prefer to phone then call 01560 483200. We also have a direct link below to make this process as seamless as possible for you. Please note at present if you are attending via medical insurance this appointment type is not covered. If we do not feel you are suitable for Telehealth we will also provide reasons for this and the appointment will not go ahead. We will be offering a reduced fee for this service. The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is very supportive of this approach at this current time and we still have a duty of care to provide to you.

Regarding our Physio-led Pilates and Yoga classes we are going to be using a video platform called Zoom. This will allow the class to be streamed to you in the comfort of your own home at a reduced price of £5 per class. If you currently attend in a block this would allow you to have 2 sessions of video to equate to one session from your block. For more clarification or to be enrolled on Zoom please contact us via our contact form or call 01560 483200.
