We are excited to announce our upcoming workshop in our Stewarton clinic with Jennifer on the 20th of May from 10-12 pm
The Pilates for runners workshop is calling all runners, casual or serious, injured or flying! Providing the strength and conditioning required for managing and reducing injuries when running. Usual injuries might include hip and knee pain, ankle injuries and lower back aches. Help with an active recovery post-run to make the most of your rest days. Find out more about the muscles and systems needed to improve your pace, endurance and strength.
This workshop is suitable for any level of runner (from a short jog to an ultramarathon runner) and the Pilates portion of the workshop is suitable for anyone from beginners to intermediate as this session will be tailored to your individual level of expertise.
This workshop will begin with a powerpoint presentation along with time for questions to be asked and answered. An hour long Pilates class will follow on from the presentation with time being allocated for snacks and refreshments.
The workshop will end with a summary of all points covered and time to ask any further questions.
